TYPICAL USES / APPLICATIONS for GRADE

Lightweight Insulating Concrete Aggregate (Sand)—Used to formulate insulative, fire-rated, sound-blocking lightweight concretes for use as roof decks, floors, and in-fill walls. Also used to cast statuary and architectural moldings, insulate underground pipes, and as injection well cements.

Lightweight Plasters and Coatings—Replaces some or all of the sand in plaster; filler for fire-rated coatings.

Cryogenic Applications—Used to fill the annular spaces in double-walled storage tanks for liquefied natural gas, helium, hydrogen, and others. Tank foundations can be poured using perlite concrete.
